Mamie Eisenhower's Million Dollar Fudge

Ingredients
2 cups (12 oz package) semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 packages (4 oz each) German sweet chocolate
1 jar (8 oz) marshmallow creme
2 cups broken walnuts
4 1/2 cups sugar
pinch of salt
2 Tbsp butter
1 can (14 1/2 oz) evaporated milk
Instructions
Combine semi-sweet chocolate chips, German sweet chocolate, marshmallow creme, and walnuts in a large bowl.
Combine sugar, salt, butter, and evaporated milk in a large heavy saucepan.
Heat to boiling, stirring constantly; boil 6 minutes, stirring often.
Pour at once over the chocolate mixture in the bowl.
Stir vigorously with a wooden spoon until chocolate is melted and mixture is creamy.
Pour into a buttered 13x9x2-inch pan.
Let stand a few hours to set.
Cut into squares.
Store in a tightly covered container.
Makes 5 pounds.
