Shoney's Strawberry Pie

Ingredients

• 1 cup sugar
• 2 Tbsp corn starch
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1 cup water
• 2 Tbsp strawberry jello
• 1/2 tsp red food coloring
• strawberries
• whipping cream

Instructions

1. Let sugar, corn starch, salt, and water come to a boil for 1 minute.
2. Add strawberry jello and red food coloring.
3. Let cool.
4. Combine strawberries and filling and pour into baked pie crust.
5. Chill.
6. Top with whipping cream.
