Sugar Cookies (Tea Cakes)

Ingredients

• 2 sticks butter, room temperature
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 eggs
• 4 cups self-rising flour, sifted

Instructions

1. Cream butter and sugar.
2. Add eggs one at a time.
3. Roll into a ball and flatten with a glass.
4. Sprinkle sugar on top.
5. Place on parchment paper.
6. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or less; don't let them brown.
