Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup margarine, softened
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 2 Tbsp milk
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 tsp baking powder

Instructions

1. Beat margarine, sugar, egg, and vanilla.
2. Stir in flour and baking powder.
3. Mix well; chill dough.
4. Roll dough on a lightly floured board.
5. Cut into shapes, sprinkle with sugar, and place on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
6. Bake at 375° for 8 minutes.
7. Yields 4 dozen.
